Earlier this week, we linked to a post on The Daily Muse on our Facebook page about the new lunch trend for busy women - salad in a jar. We think this idea is great, and a really simple way to eat healthy on the go.
The instructions are easy: start with your salad dressing of choice on the bottom, and then layer your salad toppings on top, saving the top of the jar for greens so that they stay dry during the day. And the best part is that since they're stored in a mason jar, they stay fresh for up to a week, meaning that you can throw a few of these together on the weekend for the upcoming work week.
