On Monday, Jennifer Adams visited the KCAL studios to share ideas for bringing your next summer get together outside.

Hot Summer Color Trends
Yellow, tangerine and teal (or cockatoo) are the dominant color trends for the summer season while strips are the current popular patterns.

Bring the Indoors Out
Using key elements from inside your house can help save time, money and add a layer of comfort to your outdoor patio. Use throw pillows, lamps, plants, ottomans and coffee tables to bring style to your next backyard get together.

Food Tips
Keep a beverage station stocked with soda, water or wine by the front door. This will act as a welcoming station for your guests.  In addition, utilize appetizers that last such as olives, cheeses and breads.
