Looking for the latest trend in lighting? Tired of everything looking the same? How about
something old!
Rejuvenation started in Portland, Oregon in 1975, selling
architectural salvage and restoring old light fixtures. They began making
high-quality and beautiful vintage reproductions. When I refurbished my first
house, a 1925 bungalow, I found a brand new Rejuvenation fixture for the back porch that
matched the originals on the front! I bought matching glass shades for all and
they all looked great.
Rejuvenation also restores vintage fixtures big and small.
Not only are they rewired, the finishes are cleaned or redone. They often come
in sets, too, like the pictured sconce. Some of these fixtures may not be
suitable for all applications, since they are still old. But the helpful staff
should be able to answer your questions.
I particularly love these ceramic polychrome porcelain fixtures. If
you have an old house or just need a big dose of charm, check out the
collection. If you see one you like, hurry, they go fast!
Until next time!
