How many times has it happened to you? You find a table that is the perfect style, it's gorgeous. And, it's in your price range. You can't believe it.
You look at the size, and, well, there it is. You knew it was too good to be true. That perfect table is too big to fit where you need it. Or too small. Or you want a square. Or, well... you know how it goes.
Room and Board has a wonderful program forcustomizing a nice range of contemporary rectilinear tables.
The shapes are basic yet handsome, and the selection of finishes from metals to wood to glass and marble and even quartz is impressive.
For example, this wood table is available in dining table sizes from 30 inches wide by 60 inches long all the way up to 48 inches wide by 104 inches long... that's over 8 feet long! And this is a pretty limited range for this program. Pricing is from $1400 for the 30 x 60 in cherry or maple, and $4000 for the big one, in a walnut finish, though shipping may be extra. That gives you an idea of what the Room and Board program is about.
Another example is a more versatile design, the Parsons table, shown below. It comes in a huge range of sizes from coffee tables, end tables and dining tables, big and small. You can even get two different size of metal frames and the finishes list is huge! Shop carefully, though, the tops and the frames are priced separately.
But at least you can get what you want. Have a look, and dial in that perfect table for your house!
Until next time!
